Griffith is renowned for its Italian heritage, fine wineries, and orchards. It’s one of the largest wine and vegetable production areas in Australia.
Walter Burley Griffin, a landscape architect from Chicago, designed the town of Griffith and was later responsible for the urban development of Canberra.

Day 01:
Today we travel a long Journey to Griffith. We depart Melbourne and head towards Shepparton, Katamatite with a stopover at Finley for our lunch break at Finley RS Club before we arrive at our Motel in Griffith to freshen up before Dinner.
Day 02:
9.00am: Arrive Griffith Visitor Information Centre to watch 7-min DVD on Griffith, wander the interpretive display area and view the stained glass window
9.30am: Pick up Guide for Town Tour 1 ½ hrs (FOC) – Includes viewing of Regional Theatre Curtain (if available).
11.30am: Depart for Riverina Grove (local gourmet food factory)
12.10am: Depart for Lunch at own cost
1.15pm: Depart for Catania Fruit Salad Farm (1 ½ hrs) – watch video
Day 03:
8.45am: Depart Griffith for John Lake Centre (Narrandera Fisheries)
10.00am: Stop for a Morning tea
10.30am: Tour of John Lake Centre
11.45am: Depart for Narrandera for lunch with Narrandera CanAssist. (Options available from $15pp)
2.00pm: Depart for Southern Cotton (Ginning season April-September) – must wear closed in shoes
Day 04:
8.45am: Depart for a guided tour of Rice Farm
10.30am: Depart for Morning tea at Park in Main Street
11.30am: Depart for Pioneer Park Museum visit, lunch & train ride around the park. Buy own lunch.
1.45pm: Depart for wine tasting at Winery
3.00pm: Return to Griffith for Free Time
Day 05:
Today we are head back to Melbourne with a stopover at Shepparton. Arriving in Melbourne around 5PM
